If you want to get stronger...and you should, and if you want to get leaner...and you deserve to, we can work together.
My training approach is threefold:
- Simplicity
- Effectiveness
- Empowerment
First, it has been my observation that the fitness industry is not just full of mis-information, it is full of dis-information. It seems that people are actively trying to purposely mislead people about how to achieve their fitness goals, get stronger, live healthier and live longer. They provide programs and guidance that are constantly changing and usually include lots of very complicated routines that make people feel like they need to pay these people lots of money for their vast expertise. At the end of the day, those trainers are blinding you with science in order to justify their high salaries. I have spent time studying and learning as much as I can (and continue to learn) about how the human body works, how to make it stronger, how to maintain the proper diet, etc. The fact is, it is a lot more simple than many trainers will lead you to believe. It is very easy to understand and you don't have to spend hours in the gym doing complicated exercises.

Second, my plans will focus on only the things that will bring results. I believe in the age-old 80-20 principle and focus on only the things that are most effective. Together, we will make the small, incremental changes that you need to make to get to your fitness goals. We all know about what happens when people decide to make major shifts in their lifestyle, usually every January 1st, to exercise more and eat better and "get toned." We all know how successful those plans tend to be. However, by focusing on small, simple changes that have the highest impact and most prominent change, you can start collecting "wins" and build momentum that will keep you moving in the right direction and stay with it over the long term.

Finally, if you are still paying for a trainer after a year of them coaching you, ask this question; Why am I still paying for personal training? If you are doing so because you feel like having someone like that holding you accountable is valuable to you and worth the money you're paying, great! Stay with it as long as you find value. However, if it is because you still need them to help you do the things you need to do to continue to hit fitness goals, there may be a problem. My goal is to help you understand at least enough about your health and fitness that you will be able to manage your own program, understand what works and what doesn't and hopefully be able to identify some of the scams and dis-information out there on the various magazines, supplement companies, gyms and your best friends brother-in-law who read that article one time and is now an "expert."
